J.J. Barea made a career-high seven three-pointers and finished with 26 points coming off his first 30-point game, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Chicago Bulls, 118-111, Saturday night.
Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 25 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, but had a key turnover before getting called for a five-second violation when Chicago had a chance to tie in the final 11 seconds.
Philadelphia 111, at Phoenix 104: Isaiah Canaan scored 22 points, reserve Nik Stauskas had 17 and the lowly 76ers beat the Suns for their second victory of the season.
at Portland 105, Cleveland 76: Allen Crabbe scored a career-high 26 points, and the Trail Blazers held LeBron James to just 12 points in a victory over the Cavaliers.
at New Orleans 110, Houston 108: Anthony Davis had 24 points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots, Tyreke Evans stole Trevor Ariza’s inbound pass in the final seconds, and the Pelicans held on for a victory over the Rockets.
at Charlotte 98, Memphis 92: Kemba Walker scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, and the Hornets held off the Grizzlies.
at San Antonio 101, Denver 86: Kawhi Leonard had 20 points and the Spurs rebounded from a rare loss and beat the Nuggets to remain unbeaten at home.
Miami 108, at Orlando 101: Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh each scored 24 points, and the Heat beat the Magic.
Boston 99, at Detroit 93: Avery Bradley scored 18 points, Isaiah Thomas had 17 points and nine assists, and the Celtics beat the Pistons.
Washington 111, at Brooklyn 96: John Wall had 22 points and 13 assists, Marcin Gortat scored 25 points, and the Wizards beat the Nets.
Indiana 102, at Minnesota 88: Monta Ellis had 22 points and six rebounds to help the Pacers overcome a fourth-quarter deficit.
Toronto 111, at Milwaukee 90: DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points and Terrence Ross added 21 to lead the Raptors past the Bucks.
at Atlanta 117, New York 98: Paul Millsap scored 22 points, Al Horford added 19 points and the Hawks won their sixth straight game.
