Nets snap losing streak in 94-92 win; Thunder misses 3-pointer at buzzer

The Brooklyn Nets snapped a five-game losing streak by beating Oklahoma City, 94-92, on Friday night after the Thunder’s Reggie Jackson missed what would have been a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer at home.

Jarrett Jack scored 23 points off the bench to help the Nets.

It was the Thunder’s fifth straight loss, the league’s second-longest losing streak.

Joe Johnson scored 17 points, Brook Lopez had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Mirza Teletovic added 13 points for the Nets.

The Thunder, besieged by injuries all season and at times limited to eight active players, finally got some depth as Andre Roberson returned.

Orlando 105, at Charlotte 100: The Magic erased a 23-point second-half deficit to hand the Hornets their fourth straight loss.

Phoenix 122, at Philadelphia 96: The winless 76ers (0-12) actually led, 27-26, at the end of the first quarter until the Suns rolled toward the rout.

at Atlanta 99, Detroit 89: Jeff Teague scored a season-high 28 points and the Hawks recovered after blowing a 19-point lead.

at Toronto 124, Milwaukee 83: The Raptors narrowly missed matching their largest margin of victory in franchise history, a 96-54 win over Miami in 2008.

at Memphis 117, Boston 100: Marc Gasol matched his career high with 32 points and led the way as the Grizzlies shot 53% from the field.

San Antonio 121, at Minnesota 92: Tony Parker scores 28 points, making all three of his three-pointers, for the Spurs against the short-handed Timberwolves.

at Washington 91, Cleveland 78: John Wall took over in the third quarter and finished with 28 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Wizards. The Cavaliers lost their third straight.
