The Lakers announced their summer league squad for Las Vegas on Thursday.

Center Robert Sacre represents the only player currently under contract with the team for the upcoming regular season. Sacre, who hit July as a restricted free agent, recently re-signed with the team on a multiyear deal.

Lakers 2013 draft pick Ryan Kelly (48th) is on the roster and will travel with the team -- but won’t play. The Duke forward is still recovering from foot surgery in April.

The “big†name on the roster is Josh Selby, formerly of the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers, who was named co-MVP in Las Vegas last year with Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damien Lillard.

Selby has yet to make the same impact in the NBA but averaged 24.2 points on 55.7% shooting last July to win the award.

Chris Douglas-Roberts will get another chance with the Lakers, playing on the summer league squad after just missing the regular season in October in training camp.

So far the Lakers have three games scheduled: July 12 and 15 at the Cox Pavilion and July 14 at the adjoining Thomas & Mack Center. The team will play in at least two additional tournament games between July 17 and 22.
