Baltimore Pro Bowl kick returner Jacoby Jones was hurt during an incident on a party bus in Washington, D.C., Sunday night, Coach John Harbaugh confirmed on Monday.

Several Ravens players were on the bus after a birthday celebration for left tackle Bryant McKinnie. TMZ first reported the incident, alleging that the injury occurred when Jones was hit over the head with a champagne bottle by a stripper.

Harbaugh made it clear that he was not happy with whatever it was that happened involving his already-injured player.

“I’m not very impressed personally with the report,†said Harbaugh, who indicated he was first made aware of the incident Monday morning. “It’s not something we want to be known for. I’d like to think it’s not something that those guys would want to be known for. It’s nothing to be proud of. I’m kind of disappointed in that sense.â€

Director of communications for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department Gwendolyn Crump said “police were flagged down Monday morning shortly before 3 a.m. for an altercation that was occurring at 15th and I Street NW.â€

Crump added that the injured person “indicated that he did not know how he obtained the injury, refused medical treatment on the scene and refused to go to the hospital.â€

According to both Harbaugh and Jones’ agent, Kennard McGuire, the player was fine the next morning and able to continue rehabbing the sprained right knee that has kept him sidelined since opening day.

Harbaugh added that he addressed the incident with Jones and the team about the incident.

“Of course, we’re going to have conversations and we had conversations about that and other things,†Harbaugh said. “I’ll probably keep that between us. I addressed it with the team.â€
