Oregon State’s Craig Robinson predicts close win for brother-in-law
SAN FRANCISCO -- Oregon State Coach Craig Robinson is also known as the first brother-in-law, as his sister is Michelle Obama, wife of President Obama.
So where will Robinson be on Tuesday when the presidential election is held?
“That’s classified information,†Robinson joked Thursday during the Pac-12 men’s basketball media day.
Robinson then said that he’d be in Chicago, the site of President Obama’s election-night rally.
Robinson obviously expects Obama to win, but by how much?
“With all due respect to the sportswriters here, and all the political pundits out there, it’s probably going to be pretty close,†he said. “But I’m biased.â€
Robinson added that his campaign duties don’t interfere with his being a college basketball coach, saying that any campaigning is done on his off days and that his team hasn’t missed a practice because of it.
