Update: The Timberwolves are vastly improved this season but are 0-2 against the Lakers. Kobe Bryant had 31 points and eight assists in the Lakers’ 104-85 victory over Minnesota last week at Staples Center. All-Star forward Kevin Love did not play that night because of flu-like symptoms. He is averaging 25.5 points and 13.8 rebounds for Minnesota.
