NFL power rankings: Denver, New England charge to the top

If it’s Tuesday, it must be time for the newest Times NFL power rankings, and there is a big shakeup this week.
Houston and Atlanta are no longer first and second, being replaced by Denver and New England.
There are three new teams in the top 10, the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins. That means, of course, that three teams fell out of the top 10: the Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers.

If the Super Bowl were held today, expect a Denver-Atlanta matchup.
The bottom three teams reaming the same: the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs.
The top 10: 1. Denver; 2. New England; 3. Houston; 4. Atlanta; 5. San Francisco; 6. Green Bay; 7. Indianapolis; 8. Baltimore; 9. Seattle; 10. Washington.
