Update: The Kings made it official, taking defenseman Drew Doughty off injured reserve Saturday morning and sending rookie defenseman Slava Voynov back to Manchester (N.H.) of the American Hockey League. Doughty sat out two weeks because of an injured right shoulder. The Avalanche is responsible for one of the odder trends at this early stage of the season. Colorado is winless at home, going 0-3-0, and has lost only once in seven road games.
