AT THE PLATE: Andre Ethier hit a bases-loaded triple against San Francisco, one of the Dodgers’ split-squad games. Against Kansas City, Trent Oeltjen hit a three-run home run and Matt Kemp and Juan Uribe had run-scoring doubles.

ON THE MOUND: It wasn’t a banner day for Dodgers pitchers as starter Ted Lilly was tagged for six earned runs in 22/3 innings against Kansas City, and relievers Ron Mahay and Ramon Troncoso each gave up four runs. Against the Giants, starter Tim Redding gave up four runs in four innings.

EXTRA BASES: Tony Gwynn Jr.’s stolen base against the Giants gave him his sixth steal in six attempts this spring; he was three for three at the plate. Kemp stole third base against the Royals, his third steal this spring.

UP NEXT: The Dodgers play two split-squad games Sunday. Hiroki Kuroda starts against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch and Rubby De La Rosa faces the Chicago Cubs in Las Vegas. Both games start at 1 p.m. PDT.
