Update: A victory Saturday in Carson would double Chivas’ win output this season at the Home Depot Center. This is the first regular-season MLS meeting between these clubs, though the expansion Timbers did beat Chivas, 2-0, in the U.S. Open Cup on March 29 at Portland. “Bright spots,� according to Chivas Coach Robin Fraser, included the return of two injured players, both coming in as subs in the second half Wednesday. Paulo Nagamura had been out with a calf injury, and Michael Lahoud had been sidelined after a concussion.
