White Sox Manager Robin Ventura expected to return next season
Chicago White Sox General Manager Rick Hahn said he expects Manager Robin Ventura and most of his coach staff to return next season.
Hahn said bench coach Mark Parent’s contract will not be renewed and assistant hitting coach Harold Baines had requested to move into an ambassador role.
The White Sox, expected to be much-improved after acquiring Jeff Samardzija, Melky Cabrera, David Robertson and Adam LaRoche, have disappointed with a 74-85 record before Friday.
