Volleyball: AAU Beach National Championships set for Hermosa Beach
Next weekend, the best teenage volleyball players in the nation will head to Hermosa Beach for the AAU Beach National Championships set for July 12 and 13.
More than 250 boys’ and girls’ teams will be competing in two-person teams.
One of the top players expected is Zana Muno of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
The AAU volleyball program has more than 100,000 athletes, with 30 tournaments in 13 states.
Also scheduled for this summer is the AAU Junior Olympics July 26-27 in Hermosa Beach and the AAU Best of the Beach on Aug. 2-3 in Santa Monica.
