A video and a little school spirit has resulted in Vista Murrieta High receiving a $25,000 grant in winning the Varsity Brands’ “America’s Most Spirited High School Contest” award.
A pep rally was held Friday morning alerting the students to the honor.
High schools across the country had to submit a 90-second video, a 500-word essay, two letters of recommendation and several photos demonstrating their school spirit.
Vista Murrieta, the school that has produced Su’a Cravens and Michael Norman, was the winner.
