Soccer: Aaron Yeverino ties Birmingham record in victory

City Section Division I champion Birmingham opened the Southern California Regionals on Tuesday with a 4-1 victory over Anaheim. Aaron Yeverino scored a goal, giving him 32 on the season, tying the school record.
Loyola defeated Bell, 2-0.
In Division II, Cathedral defeated Animo Leadership, 3-0. Kris Nunez, Miguel Lorenzo and Daniel Huizar scored goals.
