Sierra Canyon players head to Watts for basketball clinic
Sierra Canyon basketball players are headed to Watts today to help with a basketball clinic for youth students as part of Hoops With Heart, founded to share sports with disadvantaged children attending underfunded after-school programs.
The Lakers Youth Foundation awarded Hoops With Heart a YOU Grant to help with the project.
Daniel Messenger, a JV player for Sierra Canyon, is coordinating the event that will last about two hours.
