Mater Dei is 86-1 in Trinity League basketball

It’s one of the most amazing statistics: Santa Ana Mater Dei is 86-1 since the Trinity League was formed in 2006-07 school year in basketball.
The only loss in league play came to Orange Lutheran in 20011. The Lancers host Mater Dei on Wednesday night in a game for first place.
It’s a big week for Mater Dei, which also faces No. 1 Fairfax on Saturday night at 8:45 in the Nike Extravaganza.
