Gardena Serra renames gymnasium in honor of Dwan Hurt

Gardena Serra has honored its late basketball coach, Dwan Hurt, by renaming its gymasium, “Dwan D. Hurt Memorial Gymnasium.”
Hurt, a 1981 grad and longtime basketball coach, died last month. He was 53.
Hurt guided the Cavaliers to two state championships. He was also a dean at the school.
