Four grandsons of Bill Redell are playing for Oaks Christian

The legacy of Bill Redell continues at Oaks Christian even though he has retired as football coach.

Redell, 75, has four grandsons playing sports for the Lions.

Russell Redell is a senior soccer player and the son of former Crespi quarterback Randy Redell. He transferred from Colorado this year.

Ronny Redell is the son of former Crespi quarterback Ron Redell and a freshman lacrosse player.

Tommy Redell is a junior football-lacrosse player. Danny Redell is a senior football-lacrosse player. Both are older brothers of Ronny.

Redell continues working at Oaks Christian as director of athletic programs.

As for having four grandsons playing at Oaks Christian, Redell said, “None of them have my hairline -- yet.”
