Football: Vista Murrieta gets test from Orange Lutheran on Friday
- Share via
It’s final exam time for Vista Murrieta. The Broncos are 3-0 and finally get to see where they stand with a Friday night game against Orange Lutheran (2-2) at Orange Coast College.
Orange Lutheran has faced Corona Centennial and De La Salle. The Lancers know how to put up a fight. They have a big line, top athletes and can play physical football.
Vista Murrieta will rely on junior quarterback Karson Greeley and senior receiver Kyle Williams, who has scored eight touchdowns, including two on punt returns and one on a kickoff return. Vista Murrieta is known for its strong special teams.
This is terrific preparation for weeks from now when Vista Murrieta is expected to have a showdown game with Mission Viejo in the West Valley Division playoffs.
It’s also another game for Orange Lutheran to prepare for the weekly challenge of the Trinity League.
