Football: Tyler Vaughns, John Houston share MVP honors in Mission League
After a three-way tie for first place in the Mission League, the coaches voted for linebacker John Houston of Gardena Serra and junior receiver Tyler Vaughns of Bishop Amat as the co-league MVPs.
The offensive MVPs were TJ Brumfield of Crespi and junior Khalil Tate of Serra. The defensive MVPs were DJ Beavers of Crespi, Rasheem Green of Serra and Christian Wiley of Bishop Amat. The MVP linemen were junior Oluwole Betiku of Serra and Vaimoe Sekona of Crespi.
