Football: The magic number is seven TD passes for Max Gilliam, Tristan Gebbia

Quarterbacks Max Gilliam of Thousand Oaks and Tristan Gebbia of Calabasas each passed for seven touchdowns on Friday night.
Gilliam, a Cal commit, completed 19 of 25 passes for 352 yards in a 53-26 win over Canyon Country Canyon. He also rushed for 53 yards. His seven TDs broke the record held by former UCLA QB Ben Olson set in 2001.
Gebbia, a junior with multiple scholarship offers, finished with 474 yards passing in a 45-25 win over Burbank Burroughs.
Kevin Howell of Thousand Oaks, a Nevada commit, caught eight passes for 225 yards and four touchdowns. His four TDs tied his school record. He also ran back a kickoff 93 yards for another touchdown.
