Football: Tesoro pulls away from Corona del Mar, 45-31

It was a wild fourth quarter on Thursday night, and when the dust settled, Tesoro came away with a 45-31 victory over Corona del Mar.
A 30-yard interception return for a touchdown by Cameron King finally gave Tesoro some breathing room after the game had been tied at 24-24 and 31-31.
Quarterback Devon Modster put Tesoro on top, 38-31, with a three-yard touchdown run with 4:22 left. Modster’s passing and running led Tesoro.
Chase Garbers of Corona de Mar had three touchdown passes.
Tesoro is 4-1.Corona del Mar is 3-2.
