Football: Sophomore lineman Jordan Palmer of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame sends message

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame has a sophomore offensive guard in Jordan Palmer making a positive early impression and serving notice that he’s going to be a college prospect.
Palmer is just 14 years old and stands 6 feet 2 and weighs 310 pounds. He also plays basketball and is a shotputter.
He had three pancake blocks in the season opener against Oaks Christian, according to line coach Jake Goossen.
“He’s doing a great job,’’ Goossen said. “He can move well.”
