Football: Sean McGrew gives St. John Bosco 14-2 lead over Mater Dei

Sophomore running back Sean McGrew has a 49-yard touchdown run and a 33-yard touchdown catch to help St. John Bosco take a 14-2 halftime lead over Mater Dei.
St. John Bosco (8-0) lost the ball on a fumble inside the 10-yard line, suffered an interception in the end zone and had a punt snap fly over the head of its punter as part of an incosistent first half.
But the Braves still have the lead. McGrew has rushed for 85 yards. Chase Forrest has completed nine of 15 passes for 115 yards for Mater Dei.
