Chaminade hosted a seven on seven passing competition with Westlake on Saturday, and quarterback Malik Henry of Westlake showed off the skills that have caused USC and UCLA to offer scholarships even though he’s only going to be a junior this fall.
Westlake also has some good receivers, such as Andre Baccellia, who has offers from Washington and Duke. Another intriguing receiver is senior Sean Carter, who has grown to 6 feet 3 after being 5-10 last year and catching just two passes on varsity as a junior.
Chaminade is replacing quarterback Brad Kaaya, and receiver Dymond Lee has the arm to play the position. He completed a beautiful long pass to Brandyn Lee.
