Football: QB Chris Duncan, defense come through for Taft
- Share via
At 4-1, Taft has put itself in position to be a factor in the West Valley League after a 48-7 victory over Fairfax.
Quarterback Chris Duncan passed for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for three touchdowns.
But the key to the victory was containing Fairfax running back Ramses Hernandez. He was held to 62 yards.
Taft’s defense will need to keep up its work, because its next test will be high-scoring Chatsworth (4-0) in a league opener on Oct. 9.
