Football: QB Alif Grayes rises up for Alemany
When it comes to top performances week after week, no quarterback in Southern California has been better than senior Alif Grayes of Mission Hills Alemany.
In his first year as a starter, Grayes has connected on 68% of his passes for 1,243 yards and eight touchdowns without throwing an interception in 105 attempts. He has led Alemany to a 5-0 record. He also has 323 yards rushing.
“He’s exceeding expectations,†Coach Dean Herrington said. “Not only that, he’s running the ball great. He’s turning into a heck of a quarterback.â€
