Just in time for a showdown game against Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, quarterback Malik Henry of Long Beach Poly received eligibility clearance from the Southern Section on Monday.
Henry, who played for Westlake last season as a junior, then attended IMG Academy in Florida, has been practicing with the Jackrabbits since last month.
Nolan McDonald, a junior quarterback, led Poly to a 2-0 record, including a comeback final drive to beat Narbonne, 20-17.
Now it will be interesting to see who gets to start on Friday against Bishop Gorman.
