Football: JSerra moves closer to Pac-5 Division playoff berth
The 2014 JSerra football team will be remembered for lots of firsts in school history.
On Thursday night, the Lions (8-1, 3-1) took another step to their first Pac-5 Division playoff berth, holding on to defeat Orange Lutheran, 24-20.
There were lots of people wondering if JSerra might overlook the Lancers after last week’s emotional win over Mater Dei.
But when you have a veteran leader like senior quarterback Nick Robinson, that’s not going to happen. Robinson ran for two touchdowns and passed for another.
