Football: Gardena Serra to open season in Arizona in 2016

Gardena Serra is close to finalizing a deal to open its 2016 football season in Arizona the weekend of Aug. 19-20 against Saguaro, Coach Scott Altenberg said. Saguaro won the Division II state title in Arizona.
The Cavaliers will play City Section Division I champion Narbonne during zero week at a neutral site.
The Cavaliers also have a game scheduled at Oceanside against New Jersey St. Joseph Regional. They are finalizing a deal to play Dorsey in a nonleague game.
