Football: Gardena Serra Coach Scott Altenberg has message for UCLA fans

Gardena Serra Coach Scott Altenberg, a UCLA grad and UCLA football ticket holder, has been hearing from UCLA fans because so many of his top players are ending up at USC.
Robert Woods, George Farmer, Marqise Lee, Adoree’ Jackson, Jalen Greene . . . And on Wednesday, four more announced they would become Trojans _ Raheem Green, John Houston, Deontay Burnett and Caleb Wilson.
Altenberg said in a text message, “I think everyone is looking at it the wrong way. Obviously, the kids I’m sending to USC are contributing to the Trojans’ inability to beat UCLA. So in a way, I must be helping.”
UCLA has a three-game win streak over USC.
And Altenberg did wear UCLA colors to Wednesday’s signing day celebration at Serra.
