Football: Fairfax sure looks good in its USC uniforms
- Share via
Was that the USC Trojans or the Fairfax Lions on the field during the City Section Division II championship game on Saturday?
The uniforms sure looked like they were identical to the USC Trojans. And they are, according to Fairfax Coach Shane Cox.
It turns out Cox gets USC’s used uniforms at a discount rate from the manufacturer who removes the USC logo.
“You get to feel like a Trojan,” Cox said.
So when Fairfax shows up on Saturday night to play Chowchilla Union High School in a Division IV-AA regional bowl game, have no fear, Chowchilla. It’s not USC. But they sure look like USC in their uniforms.
