Football: Colorado relying on SoCal receivers

Colorado opens its season on Thursday night in Hawaii, and look out for the Southern California connection among the Buffaloes’ receivers.
They include Nelson Spruce (Westlake), Devin Ross (Alemany), Shay Fields (St. John Bosco), Donovan Lee (Chaminade) and Byrce Bobo (Charter Oak).
Former Mater Dei and USC quarterback Max Wittek takes over as the starter at Hawaii.
