Football: Clinic to teach proper tackling techniques is set for Wednesday
The California Interscholastic Federation is helping sponsor a free clinic for high school football coaches that will be presented by Safe Kids Worldwide and demonstrate proper tackling techniques and practice routines.
Clinics are set for Wednesday in the Palisades Ballroom at UCLA at 9 a.m. and in San Diego’s Hall of Champions in Balba Park at 2 p.m.
Here is the link to register.
New rules take effect this year that will limit full-contact drills to two days a week in practice.
NFL Hall of Famers Warren Moon and Anthony Munoz, Dartmouth Coach Buddy Teevens and Seattle Seahawks assistant coach Rocky Seto will be participating in the clinics known as Practice Like Pros.
