Football: Calabasas (5-0) finally faces tough test from Valencia

Calabasas has been pretty much on cruise control en route to a 5-0 start. The Coyotes haven’t exactly faced a challenging schedule.

But we’ll all begin to learn a little bit more about Calabasas on Friday night, because the Coyotes travel to Valencia, which is 3-1 and used to taking on top teams.

Valencia quarterback Aaron Thomas has passed for 1,173 yards and six touchdowns. He’ll have to be aware of Calabasas standout Darnay Holmes.

Calabasas quarterback Tristan Gebbia had better be ready for Valencia’s strong pass rush. Gebbia has passed for 1,384 yards and 19 touchdowns.
