ECR, Carson showdown set in girls’ volleyball

Two of the top girls’ volleyball teams in the City Section, El Camino Real and Carson, face off on Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Carson in an early season battle that should tell plenty about both teams.
Seniors Kayla Jacks of El Camino Real and Naomi Tanaka of Carson lead their respective teams.
“We’re very confident going into the season,” El Camino Real Coach Dave Chae said.
El Camino Real will be much better in a month when Sylmar transfer Kashauna Williams becomes eligible.
