Boys’ basketball: Southern Section releases new polls

The Southern Section has released its first watch list for the Open Division in basketball. Forty teams are mentioned.

In 1AA, Long Beach Poly is ranked No. 1 and Mater Dei No. 2. In 1A, Loyola is No. 1. La Mirada, Damien, Thousand Oaks, Cathedral, Bishop Montgomery, Campbell Hall, Sierra Canyon, Bell-Jeff and Price are No. 1 in their respective divisions.
