Boys’ basketball: Sophomore center Jayce Johnson transfers to JSerra
Jayce Johnson, a 7-foot sophomore center who played last season as a freshman at Santa Ana Mater Dei, has transferred to Trinity League rival JSerra.
That could be a big development, taking away a major college prospect from the Monarchs. He began classes this past week.
He might have been the player to be named later, since former JSerra guard Rex Pflueger transferred to Mater Dei.
