Boys’ basketball: Rex Pflueger commits to Notre Dame

Rex Pflueger, a 6-foot-5 senior guard from defending state champion Santa Ana Mater Dei, has committed to Notre Dame, Coach Gary McKnight said.
Pflueger made a visit to Notre Dame last weekend and was impressed, McKnight said.
Pflueger started his basketball career at JSerra before arriving at Mater Dei as a junior. He has a good outside shot and plays strong defense.
