Boys’ basketball: Redondo tournament begins on Friday

Redondo High will be the site for a 16-team basketball tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The championship game is Sunday at 3 p.m.
Teams entered: Long Beach Poly, Taft, Hart, Cantwell-Sacred Heart, Narbonne, South Torrance, Bishop Montgomery, Inglewood, Calabasas, Culver City, Compton, Westchester, St. Bernard, Palos Verdes and two Redondo teams.
Among the featured games are Taft vs. LB Poly on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Bishop Montgomery vs. Calabasas on Saturday at 3 p.m.
