Boys’ basketball: Injuries sideline Poly’s Drew Buggs, La Mirada’s Vittorio Reynosa-Avila

Injuries are already affecting the high school basketball season.
Long Beach Poly’s best player, guard Drew Buggs, went down with a knee injury last week during the Redondo tournament. He was scheduled to undergo an MRI.
La Mirada will be without its top player, Vittorio Reynoso-Avila, for about a month after a foot injury.
