Boys’ basketball: Former Buckley guard David Gale hired as D-League assistant

David Gale, a former standout guard at Sherman Oaks Buckley, has been hired as an assistant coach by the 905 Raptors of the NBA Development League, an affiliate of the Toronto Raptors.
Gale has been assistant video coordinator for the Raptors since 2011.
In the summer, he helped organize workouts for several team members.
