Boys’ basketball: Dean Bradshaw to coach with his son at Simi Valley

Dean Bradshaw, who spent 11 years as basketball coach at Simi Valley in the 1990s, is coming out of coaching retirement to become an assistant to his son, Ryan, the head coach at Simi Valley.
“Still have to interview him,” Ryan said jokingly in a text message. “Resume is a little outdated but leaning toward bringing him on.”
He had a 215-81 record until stepping down in 1999.
