Boys’ basketball: Corona Centennial gets road victory over L.A. Cathedral
Despite playing without leading scorer Deontae North, No. 3-ranked Corona Centennial rallied for a 72-63 road victory over L.A. Cathedral on Saturday night, improving to 22-2. Cathedral dropped to 19-3. Cathedral had a seven-point halftime lead.
Sedrick Barefield provided offensive firepower for the Huskies, scoring 29 points. Marcus Ford had a pair of important three-pointers.
L.A. Price defeated Foothills Christian, 86-83, in overtime. Roderick Williams scored 26 points and James Washington had 18 for Price.
