Boys’ basketball: Chino Hills, Fairfax, Oak Park, Brentwood in semifinals
The semifinals for the Maranatha tournament on Friday night will offer two entertaining matchups.
It will be Chino Hills against Fairfax at 7 p.m. and Oak Park against Brentwood at 8 p.m.
Fairfax has been playing as well as any team this summer, led by guards Lindsey Drew and Donald Gipson. Chino Hills is led by Lonzo Ball.
Oak Park returns three starters from its 3A championship team and has added two top freshmen. Brentwood has received a boost from Harvard-Westlake transfer Nick Medavoy.
