Boys’ basketball: Birmingham-Chino Hills playoff opener will be played at Colony

Ontario Colony, which has a seating capacity close to 3,000, will be the site for Friday night’s Southern California Regional Open Division basketball opener between Birmingham and Chino Hills. Game time is 7 p.m.
Chino Hills wanted to play in its gym, where the seating capacity is listed as 1,316. Because of the Huskies’ growing fan base, the CIF suggested another site.
Schools will begin selling tickets on Wednesday. Here’s the link to Chino Hills’ ticket information. Tickets for students will be available at the student store Wednesday and Thursday.
General admisssion tickets go on sale Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chino Hills stadium ticket booth.
Birmingham will start selling tickets to students and parents on Wednesday. General admission tickets will be available at Birmingham for purchase by the general public starting at 3:30 p.m. at the student store for $9.
