Boys’ baskeball: Crespi’s De’Anthony Melton commits to USC

De’Anthony Melton, a 6-foot-4 senior guard from Encino Crespi known for his versatility and ability to play tough defense, has committed to USC.
He led Crespi to the state Division IV championship in basketball last season, averaging 15.5 points.
He blocked a shot in the closing seconds of the championship game to preserve the Celts’ victory.
