Basketball: Battle of the Valley is Saturday
The annual Battle of the Valley all-star basketball game for boys and girls is set for Saturday night at L.A. Valley College. The girls’ game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the boys’ game is at 7:30 p.m.
Among the players scheduled to play in the boys’ game are UCLA-bound Aaron Holiday of Campbell Hall, Montana-bound Michael Oguine of Chaminade, Yale-bound Alex Copeland of Harvard-Westlake and USC-bound Bennie Boatwright of Village Christian.
UCLA-bound Kennedy Burke of Sierra Canyon and Pepperdine-bound Paige Fecske from Chaminade will play for the West team in the girls’ game.
