Baseball: Giancarlo Stanton stops by alma mater
- Share via
The first indication of Giancarlo Stanton dropping by his alma mater, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, to hit a few baseballs on Thursday night for a commercial shoot came from major leaguer and Notre Dame grad, Chris Dickerson, saying how I was “missing the lazer show” at Notre Dame.
Then Notre Dame Coach Tom Dill started texting me. “Stanton at field now. . . .Hitting onto Riverside Drive. . .Over the houses eye in center.”
Then there was another tweet, “Sorry, no video evidence. But photo evidence of Stanton home run ball sitting on Riverside Dr.”
And that photo had a ball and some glass on the ground.
So it sounds like they had a fun time at Notre Dame watching the show put on by the Miami Marlins all-star.
Here’s link to video of Stanton’s visit.
