Baseball: Former Mater Dei teammmates Ty Moore, Jeremy Martinez come through

They play for rival schools. One for UCLA, the other for USC, but former Santa Ana Mater Dei teammates Ty Moore and Jeremy Martinez will always be friends, and they were probably texting each other on Tuesday night after each hit home runs to lead their respective teams to victory.
Moore, a junior outfielder, hit a three-run home run in the 13th inning to help UCLA defeat San Diego, 5-2. He had a career-high four RBI.
Martinez, a sophomore catcher, hit his first home run of the season, a two-run shot, to help USC defeat Pepperdine, 5-2.
